Louise is a primary school teacher working for Education Queensland with most of her experience focused on early childhood teaching (P-2). In more recent years, Louise has been inspired by the Walker approach, which gives children opportunities to develop life skills through planned and purposeful play. As well as this, she has been inspired by Kath Murdoch’s inquiry approach to learning with a focus on curiosity, creativity and purpose in the classroom. For Louise, one of the most rewarding things about teaching continues to be the wonderful connections you can make with each child and the impact you can have on their life.
