About the Project

Project Summary

Evidence suggests that when a person with dementia becomes lost, a delay in commencing a coordinated search increases the risk of not finding the person or finding them injured or deceased. This project aims to seek informed opinion from key stakeholders (members of general public, family carers of people with dementia, health professionals and police) about how to improve the health outcomes of missing persons with dementia.
