Irina Anastasiu's publications are available on:

Irina holds a PhD at the intersection of urban planning, urban informatics and participatory design from QUT, as well as a BSc and MSc in Media Informatics from LMU, Germany, and an Honours Degree in Technology Management from CDTM, Germany. Her doctoral research explored the practices and tensions between urban actors in the production of the smart city and urban innovation, as well as mechanisms towards more systemic change through the lens of the right to the city and participatory design. More recently, her research interests have expanded to include intermediation, privacy-by-design and technological sovereignty.
