Real-time Slope Monitoring using Wireless Sensor Network

Project Description

The wireless sensor network is used to monitor the slope movement in real-time to assess the effectiveness of vegetation to stabilise natural slopes in Lake Baroon catchment in Maleny, QLD. Further research is being conducted to identify critical sensor locations for a given slope and the applicability of this real-time monitoring system to warn against rain-induced slope failures.
