Melissa off to Purdue University

Melissa is heading off to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA where she will spend 2 months completing the analysis for one of her chapters under the guidance of Stephen Cameron. Her analysis will investigate the links between fruit fly evolution and host use.

Melissa will then present her findings at the American Entomological Society meeting in St Louis, Missouri in mid-November, ‘The evolution and biogeography of Australian Dacini fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae)’.
