Alexander Gibson is a Master of Philosophy student in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Brisbane, Australia. He completed an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and his passion for sport and data led to an interest in triathlon focused research. His current research has two studies. The first, involving timing data from the World Triathlon Organization to advance the understanding of elite triathlon performance. The other, in recruiting participants to examine the physiological and perceptual effects of ordering daily running and cycling training in triathletes.
