
Mitchell has completed his PhD (2024), which focused on the physiological demands and the role of exercise in esports athletes. Mitchell is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia and is a casual academic in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Science at QUT. Mitchell is an emerging leader in esports research as he is one of the first investigate exercise physiology in esports. Mitchell is also on the PhD Committee of the Esports Research Network, facilitating research collaboration internationally. Research Areas:
