The QUT Energy Transition Centre brings together an exceptional and diverse team of experts from across engineering, data science, material science, economics, law, policy and the social sciences. Our people are united by a shared mission: to drive impactful research that supports sustainable energy transition.

Our centre has been designed to emulate the energy supply chain; from securing critical mineral resources essential for energy generation and storage technologies, to simulating and demonstrating the deployment of energy to the grid.

Science and engineering research are being underpinned by policy development, market analysis, and a deep understanding of human behaviour to facilitate the translation of fundamental research into commercial outcomes with real world impact.
