Program mission
This program looks at sustainable of critical minerals, renewable resources such as biomass, and the longevity of the infrastructure that will deliver the energy transition. Sustainability is embedded into the research working from the inputs that are used to create new energy technologies such as batteries, through to fuels and all the way to how to build and operate the the large infrastructure to ensure success. Due to the nature of the research having significant opportunities for industry funded research, this program will focus on creating long term industry connections that operate at TRLs between 2-6.
