Marvin is a Research Associate in the Energy Storage Research Group, working on the analysis and electrochemical testing of battery materials. He completed his PhD under the supervision of Christopher Barner-Kowollik in the fields of materials science and polymer chemistry. Since, he has continued to employ his expertise in materials science analysis techniques on a wide array of materials, from adhesives to 3D-printed structures and finally electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
