New media and public communication

This project brings media, communication and cultural studies questions and approaches together with data gathering, analysing and visualisation methods derived from computer science to try to understand the shape and dynamics of online public communication in Australia, particularly the Australian blogosphere, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.
