The Investigating statistical and analytical approaches to linking online activities with offline events, and in online public spaces project with the Australian Government Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) develops new techniques and statistical models in social media analytics for studying social activity and behaviour online. In particular, developing approaches for linking entities and information across multiple online platforms and web spaces, as well as enhancing and optimising open source social media analysis tools authored by Dr Timothy Graham and Robert Ackland.
