    Sara Ekberg completed her PhD with the DMRC in 2018, as a joint degree between the DMRC and Jönköping International Business School (Jönköping University) in Sweden. She is now working as a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland Business School. Her current research is focusing on the process of creating new ventures. Her field of expertise is organizational behaviour and her dissertation focused on how organizations respond to radical change that threatens its fundamental values and norms. In this study, she investigated how newspaper organizations manage changes caused by digitization. Sara is also interested in how small firms grow, including potential challenges that entrepreneurs experience in their path to grow. She has considerable experience delivering courses in strategic management, leadership, qualitative methods, and entrepreneurship. Together with colleagues from Sweden, she ran a certificate program funded by the European Union and the Swedish Agency for Regional Growth to provide SMEs with practical advice to implement growth strategies.
