Kevin’s research background is grounded in science and technology studies and media theory. In the GenAI Lab Kevin will research possibilities to make technical democracy a defining feature in governing the future of emerging information technologies. He received his PhD from the University of New South Wales in 2023 where he investigated the impact of automation and AI on education governance.
Prior to working at QUT, he co-founded the Education Futures Studio at the University of Sydney and worked for the Right to Repair group at UNSW
