    Gabriela M. Lunardi is a PhD candidate in QUT’s Digital Media Research Centre. She completed an MPhil with the DMRC in 2018, and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Communication majoring in Advertising from PUC-RS University, in Brazil, in 2013. From 2013-2015 Gabriela worked as a project manager in a marketing research agency where she developed her passion for research and cultural studies. Gabriela’s current research focuses on the relationship between internet memes and Brazilian culture and seeks to understand how internet memes reflect Brazilian culture today.
