Dr Elija Cassidy is a Chief Investigator in the Digital Media Research Centre and an Affiliate Researcher in the Centre for Justice. His research focuses on issues of digital inclusion and equality as they play out through the platform designs, user practices, and corporate policies of networked digital systems. Elija has published a monograph and in high impact international journals on these topics and teaches courses on digital media ecosystems, digital ethics and research methodologies, and technological social justice issues. Having held a number of institutional committee and senior leadership positions over the past 16 years, he is also an experienced educational leader.
