    PhD Candidate

    Alice is a PhD Candidate and sessional academic in the Law School, Faculty of Law at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of International Business (Distinction) from QUT. Alice researches the intersection between law and technology, focusing primarily on the content moderation processes of online platforms like Instagram. She is developing an original black box methodology, including digital methods, to uncover empirical evidence of content moderation processes for legal analysis. Alice is particularly interested in regulation, governance, and theories of law including feminist legal theory and the rule of law. Her work has been published in Communication, Research & Practice.
