Adriana is finishing her Phd in Arts and Humanities at Unisul – Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, Brazil, and holds a position of Lecturer of Media Planning and Consumer Behaviour at UNIVALI – Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, in Brazil. Adriana visited the DMRC for six months during 2018 and 2019 as a visiting researcher funded by CAPES, and is conducting her PhD research on Mass Communication Media and Brazilian Cultural Studies, understanding how Creative Industries have changes the Mass Communication Narratives in Brazil and, consequently, the notion of Brazilian Identity. While at the DMRC, her research was supervised by Professor Terry Flew. Her interests include Cultural Studies, Media Studies, Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Philosophy.
