Join us at the upcoming DMRC visitor seminar, led by visiting PhD, Marina Botelho from Paulista University, Brazil, who will be delving into Playing with Media Literacy: Utilizing tabletop RPGs as a pedagogical tool to promote Media Education for young Australians and Brazilians.
This talk is the first in a new series of talks and events for the ‘Media Literacy Research Incubator’ organised by Digital Inclusion and Participation program within the Digital Media Research Centre at QUT. The Media Literacy Research Incubator aims to develop new knowledge and an evidence base for policy reform for the role media literacy education can play in creating better digital futures. Media literacy is essential for successful participation in all aspects of life, and it is a vital component of successful and inclusive societies.
