Join Us for a Two-Day Research Workshop: The Future of the Public Sphere

We invite you to be a part of an stimulating and collaborative workshop as we delve into the Future of the Public Sphere. This two-day interdisciplinary research workshop, taking place on March 21-22, 2024, at QUT Kelvin Grove, will focus on the public sphere in Australia and beyond.

Who’s Invited?

Are you an Early Career Researcher or a PhD student with a passion for exploring the realms of the public sphere? Then this workshop is for you. Featuring panel presentations and thought-provoking discussions, our format is designed to empower emerging scholars. Come join us in fostering engaging discussions and forging connections with other researchers and students.

Your Hosts

This workshop is a collaborative workshop hosted by two distinguished institutions – the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance (University of Canberra), and the DMRC at QUT. We are proud to have the support of the Australian Political Studies Association (APSA), enabling us to offer you this enriching experience. The workshop is convened by the esteemed Dr. Adele Webb and Dr. Katharina Esau.
