Potentials and pitfalls in research and practice.
AI has qualities that can be used for the benefit of a wide variety of people and help them become more empowered in both physical and digital worlds.
The purpose of this workshop is to gain and share insights in how AI, including the recent boom of generative AI applications, could empower digital media users in their everyday life and work.
Kaisa will give a brief overview of the potentials and pitfalls of some of the current AI tools and systems. We can then focus the discussion on the specific topics of the participating students, and how AI could make a positive impact for users and other stakeholders. In the end of the session, let’s summarise the benefits and risks of using AI in digital media research and practice.
Afternoon tea will be provided. REGISTER HERE.
