| Sharon Altena is a Senior Curriculum and Learning Designer in the Learning and Teaching Unit at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She has extensive experience in all facets of learning, teaching and assessment across the secondary, vocational education and training and university sectors. Her research interests relate to mobile and online learning, first year experience, learning technologies, and the role of learning designers in higher education. Sharon is currently undertaking Doctoral Studies relating to how to effectively design online learning for first year undergraduate coursework students. |
