TEL and the Virtual University
This book project (edited by Professor Michael Sankey, Dr Henk Huijser and Dr Rachel Fitzgerald) seeks to provide a range of considered opinions from experts around the globe as to how one can conceivably create a holistic virtual university, using the expanding range of technology enhanced learning applications. Consideration is also given to the pros and cons and viability, given the current suite of options, to establish a fully virtual university. The book is designed as a practical guide for those looking to develop a virtual university from the ground up. It is based on tangible examples of contemporary practice aligned to the expertise that only significant time and influence within the sector can bring.
