Characteristics of Retailing and Consumption in the Independent Fashion Sector
This project examines ways in which independent fashion is consumed and is set within the context of change in the fashion retailing industry in the areas of digital technology and sustainability. Using cultural intermediation as a conceptual framework, the aim is to contribute new insight into the sector by examining ways in which networked participants interpret, perform, consume and communicate independent fashion as a cultural object.
