Hospital of the Future Fashion

The Hospital of the Future Fashion Collection is a collaboration between QUT Fashion students and Metro North Hospital and Health Service. Facilitated by Design Lab members Icaro Ibanez-Arricivita (QUT Fashion), Professor Thea Blackler (QUT School of Design) and Mathilde Desselle from the Herston Biofabrication Institute.

Starting in February 2019, the Fashion Students were presented with the brief of designing a concept-driven futuristic uniform for current health professionals. With a tight deadline of four weeks the students got immersed in research design and making to showcase their work during the Herston Biofabrication Institute Inaugural Conference.
