Grandschools is a national health and medical research project investigating opportunities for intentional health, wellbeing and social connectedness through shared intergenerational living and learning communities.
We are delighted to invite you along to a panel discussion facilitated by Dr Xanthe Golenko from the Australian Institute of Intergenerational Practice (AIIP) on ‘The Intergenerational Campus: Opportunities for place based co-learning and mutual belonging’ with international and local researchers: PhD Scholars Wanjiru Karanja and Sarah Aita – QUT; Prof Lisa Wagner – Professor Psychology, University of San Francisco; Dr Marissa Lindquist – Architecture and Intergenerational Design, QUT Design Lab; and A/Prof Katrina Radford – Aged Care workforce and Intergenerational Practice, Griffith University.
We will discuss what this new model of intergenerational living and learning might look like.
This free in-person event is in partnership with the Queensland division of the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) and the Australian Institute of Intergenerational Practice (AIIP) and will end with time for informal networking and connections.
