Kossinna Wasala, a PhD research student from QUT’s Design Lab has won the first place in the QUT grand finale held on 7thAugust 2018. Visualise Your Thesis is an exciting new competition that challenges Doctoral students to present their research in a 60-second, eye-catching digital display.
Kossinna’s research explores Emotion in Motion, Bodily Expressions of Emotion. His study investigates how people express emotions through bodily expressions and how physical forms in motion can express emotions.
The research project is supervised by Dr. Rafael Gomez, Dr. Jared Donovan, and Dr. Marianella Chamorro-Koc.
Kossinna will now represent QUT in the national final which will be held at the University of Melbourne in September.
