QUT Design Lab invites you to join us for an evening with long time urban writer, photographer, affiliate associate professor and land-use attorney/consultant Chuck Wolfe.
Wednesday 18 October, 6-7.30pm QUT Kelvin Grove campus, Z9 Building, Level 6
Chuck provides a unique perspective about cities as both a writer about urbanism worldwide and an attorney in Seattle, where he focuses on land use and environmental law and permitting. He is also Founder and Principal Advisor at the Seeing Better Cities Group and an Affiliate Associate Professor in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington, where he teaches land-use law at the graduate level. Chuck’s new book ‘Seeing the Better City’ focusses on how to explore, observe and improve urban space.
Following his presentation there will be a Q&A conversation led by Professor Paul Sanders, with Cathryn Chatburn (Urban Designer with Urban Enquiry) and Marcus Foth, Professor of Urban Informatics at QUT Design Lab. The seminar is hosted by QUT Design Lab’s Prof Paul Sanders. Light refreshments will be provided.
