The community broadcasting sector has been a long term Industry Partner with QUT, involved in no less than three ARC Linkage Projects over the last 20 years.

Chris’ involvement in these and other long term research and service commitments are recognised by the Michael Law award. Most recently she concluded her third term as Chair of the Community Media Training Organisation, the sector’s registered training organisation.

Also late last year an article co-authored with recent RHD graduate Dr Kim Stewart about participation of people with disabilities in the sector was published In Media Culture and Society: https://doi.org/10.1177%2F0163443719890536
