Yumi Sanap Strong (Let’s Stand Strong Together) is an action research project and community led initiative to support the implementation of the PNG Sorcery National Action Plan.
Creative Research in Development (CRiD)’s vision is the creation of a peaceful and inclusive society that promotes diversity of knowledges to support real world opportunities. Our purpose is to promote creative research approaches as innovative pedagogies in co-creation, content sharing and real-word problem solving.
Our team members work across a wide range of projects that work closely with communities and organisations using participatory strategies to affect social impact. Our research privileges indigenous perspectives valuing principles of respect, relationships and reciprocity. Many of our research projects utilise arts-based research approaches to facilitate collaboration and co-design processes to develop solutions collectively. Our transdisciplinary projects span across the fields of gender, human rights, health, climate change, education and the creative and cultural industries in the Asia-Pacific region
