Piyada Chaisri

PhD Candidate, School of Nursing

Piyada is a final year PhD student at the School of Nursing, QUT. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mahidol University, Thailand. She has a Certificate of Nursing Specialty in paediatric oncology nursing. She has been a member of the Thai Board of Advance Practice in Nursing (APN). Piyada completed a Master of Science (Public Health) at Mahidol University. Currently, she is working as a Nurse Instructor.

The purpose of Piyada’s dissertation is to develop a culturally appropriate Thai version of the Family Inventory of Needs-Paediatric II to assess care needs of parents who have children with cancer in Thailand. Her research interests focus on paediatric cancer care and tool development.
