Find Kirsten Franzen on
Kirsten has been working in health-related research areas for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Nursing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science (Health) and Public Health. Kirsten’s research background is in renal dialysis and transplantation, palliative care and oncology. Her research interests include palliative care, oncology and chronic illness. She has considerable experience coordinating clinical trials. As a Senior Research Assistant for the Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN) study, Kirsten is responsible for creating and maintaining the research database, setting up research processes, liaising with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders, screening and recruiting study participants, data collection and data analysis for progress reporting.
