Professor Bruce Mann

    Director of The Breast Tumour Stream, Victoria Comprehensive Cancer Centre and Professor of Surgery, University of Melbourne; Consultant Surgeon, Royal Melbourne, Royal Women’s Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

    Professor Bruce Mann is a Surgical Oncologist and specialist breast surgeon working in the Breast Service at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is also the Director of Breast Cancer Services for the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s hospitals and a Professor of Surgery at The University of Melbourne. In addition, he is the Director of Advanced Surgical Training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

    His surgical training was completed at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he specialised in Surgical Oncology – the surgical treatment of cancer – and in particular the treatment of breast cancer. He is also an expert on melanoma, gastric (stomach) cancer and sarcoma.
