Emmah Baque is an experienced physiotherapist who holds an academic position at Griffith University, is research active with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and continues to work clinically at Q Paediatrics, Brisbane. Emmah assists in developing and teaching paediatric content in both the Bachelor and Master of Physiotherapy programs at Griffith University. Her current QUT research activities include investigating the validity of accelerometry to measure physical activity intensity in children with cerebral palsy, evaluating the impact of therapeutic exercise programs to reduce acute exacerbations in children with bronchiectasis and finally, analysing the efficacy of a goal-directed physiotherapy intervention for paediatric survivors of childhood posterior fossa brain tumours.
