Participate in a research study – Feeding babies and toddlers aged 6-24 months

Update November 2018: Recruitment for this study has now closed.

Dr Rebecca Byrne and Dr Elena Jansen are researching what happens at children’s meal times.   They are currently looking for parents whose children are aged between 6 and 24 months and are consuming semi-solid/solid foods regularly, to visit the Centre for Children’s Health Research at South Brisbane. During this visit they would like to videotape parents feeding their child a lunch-time meal, completing a written questionnaire about feeding practices and have a short discussion about the questionnaire.

Please view the attached Participant Information Sheet  and Feeding_Babies_and_Toddlers_Consent-Form for further details on the study.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact Rebecca via email. If you choose to participate, free parking is available at the Centre for Children’s Health Research for the duration of your visit.  Please note that this study has been approved by the QUT Human Research Ethics Committee (approval number 1700000857).
