Dr. Páraic Ó Cuív’s research focuses on the human gut microbiome and developing microbiome derived therapeutics for chronic diseases. He is an expert in microbiology, bacterial genetics and functional genomics, and together with the Center for Microbiome Research, he is developing innovative strategies to “bring the microbiome to life” and to dissect the host-microbe interactions that underpin host health and well-being.
