The Centre for Mining Equipment, Technology and Services Business Innovation (CMBI) team has experience working with firms across a range of industry sectors including mining equipment, technology and services (METS), construction, agri-business and manufacturing.

Dr Cox’s research focus is on the functioning of technological innovation systems within the biorefining, biofuels and mining industries. His research examines the innovation processes necessary for the development and diffusion of system changing technologies. He coordinates a team of researchers with expertise in managing human behaviour, business strategy and social systems to support technology-based industrial transformation in the METS and mining sector.
