Hamish McNeill is a Research Fellow at the Contact Lens and Visual Optics Laboratory, School of Optometry, Faculty of Health, QUT. He graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science (Optometry) in 2009 and was awarded a QUT University medal. He was also a recipient of a QUT Vice Chancellor Performance Fund Award in 2015.

Hamish’s research areas include contact lens discomfort, ocular thermography and innovative contact lens design. As well as his research work, Hamish has a keen interest in educating student optometrists with particular expertise in corneal topography and toric contact lenses. He has been a supervisor in both Primary Care and Contact Lens Optometry Clinics since 2013.
