QUT PhD Student and CLVOL member, Swee Chai Teoh, has recently been awarded the title of Fellow, from the Australasia subsidiary of Advanced Higher Education (previously known as the Higher Education Academy).
Swee Chai taught undergraduate optometry students for six years at the National Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences, for The Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital, in Malaysia, before arriving at QUT in 2017. Whilst completing her PhD studies, Swee Chai has taught as a sessional academic in various undergraduate units of QUT’s OP45 Vision Science degree. Swee Chai has been passionate and committed to delivering excellence in higher education teaching and student learning support. Her dedication to higher education teaching has been deservedly recognised.
Swee Chai is in the final year of her PhD journey at QUT, and as she currently immerses herself in gathering data for her final experiment and writing her thesis, she is certainly proud to receive this fellowship.
