QUT HDR Student and CLVOL member, Hamed Niyazmand, has completed his QUT doctoral research studies on Ocular changes associated with accommodation and convergence.
Hamed’s research centered on ocular changes associated with accommodation and convergence, and primarily focused on how the sclera changed when near tasks were performed. Hamed Niyazmand remains eager to embrace further opportunities to engage in accommodation and convergence research, and is currently employed as a casual research optometrist in the Contact Lens and Visual Optics Laboratory on QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus.
Hamed Niyazmand attended his doctorate graduation at a QUT Ceremony held at the university’s Gardens Point Campus on 2 October 2020. Hamed’s wife, Dr Farzaneh Hashemnia was also in attendance.
