The Contact Lens and Visual Optics Laboratory recently hosted a visit from Cylite Pty Ltd to deliver a protoype of their new Hyperparallel Optical Coherence Tomography clinical instrument for eye imaging.  The instrument provides dense volumetric imaging of the anterior structures of the eye, and the results will be compared against those from a range of existing clinical instruments.

Cylite is a Melbourne based, technology company which is developing novel imaging and metrology systems for vision and eye care. Visiting the lab were Grant Frisken, CTO of the company and Dirk Lorenser an optical engineer. Cylite has been awarded an Accelerating Commercialisation grant by the Australian Government for 2016-17.
