The City 4.0 Lab has available positions for highly motivated prospective PhD researchers, particularly the ones with the following qualities:
- Analytical ability
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent command in English academic writing and communication
- Knowledge through methodological training and work and research experience
- Sound understanding in urban issues, technologies and empirical research
- Interest in undertaking the PhD study in Thesis by Publication mode (producing articles published in high-impact journals)
What topics can I research?
Our City 4.0 Lab researchers investigate what is involved in sustainable, healthy, and digital transformation and its implication for our cities, communities, industries, and the environment. Prospective PhD research project proposals should focuses on one our more of the following City 4.0 aspects:
- Circularity of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
- Adaptability of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
- Liveability of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
- Accessibility of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
- Authenticity of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
- Responsibility of urban environments in the context of City 4.0
