This collaborative projects engages academics and students from universities across five continents. It enquires about the important relationship between urban form, public space (with a focus on human-centred development and taking into consideration more-than-human factors), linear infrastructures, and climate adaptation, delivering webinars, design charrettes, and resources to discuss how cities can adapt to face the demands of a changing climate, society, economy, and how cities can respond to opportunities and challenges connected with new linear infrastructures or landscapes. The program partners with a series of international institutions to promote people-centred design in line with the UN-Habitat New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. The aim of the program is in investigating novel urban design solutions through a collaborative approach; it provides a unique learning opportunity for participating students to engage and interact with peers, scholars, and academics worldwide.
