Background
Dr Shelley Hopkins is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Optometry and Vision Science. Dr Hopkins coordinates the paediatric optometry clinic within QUT Health Clinics and lectures into the Master of Optometry course. Her research is in the area of children's vision. In 2017, Dr Hopkins was a recipient of both a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence (Mixed Research Team – Children’s Vision Team) and a Vice Chancellor's Performance Award (Team - Optometry Clinic Outreach Team). Dr Hopkins is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
