Providing children’s vision testing services in remote Cape York and Torres Strait Islander communities

This project aims to better understand the extent of uncorrected vision problems of Indigenous children in remote communities in Cape York. This will be achieved through delivery of a vision testing service to children at their schools in the Torres Strait region, documenting of current vision testing services and identifying the key barriers to accessing and providing services in the community using a health services needs analysis (through consultation with key partners in the community).
