We are a group of multidisciplinary researchers with decades of experience in high quality research and impact at national and international levels. We conduct research analysing: the nature and prevalence of childhood adversities (including all forms of child abuse and neglect; developmental, familial and social adversities; and new forms of adverse experiences such as online violence and trauma); their health, developmental, economic and social consequences through the lifespan; and the design, implementation and monitoring of measures to prevent, identify and respond to such adversities, including the use of co-designed digital platforms to enable help-seeking and service delivery.
Our members have national and international reputations, and we publish in leading international journals. We have a history of successful collaboration, both together, and with other renowned researchers and institutions in Australia and overseas, to generate new scientific knowledge for the benefit of communities, professions, governments, and the international field.Read more
