Project title
Development of potential agents targeting DNA repair pathway for cancer therapy
Supervisory Team
Principal Supervisor: Dr Neha S. Gandhi
Associate Supervisors: Professor Derek Richard, Dr Mark Adams
Project description
Tabassum Khair’s project focusses on the design and identification of novel inhibitors of the proteins involved in DNA repair and cell cycle progression for cancer therapy. In her current PhD work, she is utilising several computational tools, molecular biology, biophysical and analytical techniques for the screening, identification, and optimisation of ligand molecules for the target proteins.
Short Biography
