Supervisory Team
Principal Supervisor: Professor Nathan Subramaniam
Associate Supervisor: Dr Daniel Wallace
Project description
This project will focus on Smad Anchor Receptor Activator (SARA) and its role in the progression of liver fibrosis by doing multiple assays and identifying gene variants associated with liver fibrosis such as : Bioinformatic analysis, Western Blot, Tissue Culture, RT-PCR, Immunofluorescence microscopy and application of Digital spatial profiling using 3D liver modules from mice and human, which can be beneficial in terms of liver prognosis and treatment.
