Project description
This project involves bioinformatic analysis of rare gene variants in patients with different types of liver disease, which Gary will then introduce in mouse and human liver cell models to identify their impact on cell function. This project has the potential to improve patient diagnosis for liver disease.
Short Biography
Gary is a first year PhD candidate who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours). He has an interest in genomics, and a desire to develop and expand his current skills, which is why he decided to pursue a PhD.
