MPhil Candidate

Project title

Establishing metabolic phenotypes in prostate cancer molecular subtypes to test response to therapy

Supervisory Team

Principal Supervisor: Dr Jennifer Gunter
Associate Supervisors: Professor Colleen Nelson, Dr Lisa Philp, Associate Professor Elizabeth Williams

Project description

Briony’s project focuses on establishing a new methodology for the metabolic analysis and characterisation of prostate cancer tissues and spheroid models. This project investigates the metabolic and phenotypic characteristics of various stages of prostate cancer with the aim of identifying novel co-targeting strategies.
